How the calculation works
Remaining funds = available money minus upcoming essential payments. The daily reference divides a positive remainder by the number of days, rounded down to cents. If payments exceed funds, the calculator shows the shortfall. Unrecorded expenses, future income and currency conversion are not included.
Personal, family and business budgets
For yourself, enter your own funds and bills. For a family, use the agreed shared budget and household obligations. For business, use funds allocated to work expenses and unpaid bills. The mode changes the context, while the arithmetic remains the same.
A 30-day example
With 30,000 available and 12,000 in upcoming essential payments, 18,000 remains. Spread over 30 days, that is 600 per day. This illustrates the allocation of entered funds, not guaranteed savings or an income forecast.
Continue tracking in CHEK
This calculator gives a one-off reference. The CHEK app lets you track expenses, keep receipts, plan a family budget and review business purchases. Calculator inputs are not automatically transferred to the app. The app has paid access; review the terms before paying.
